MODEL 5 CONTROLLER

There is no other economically priced package printer controller on the market with so much capability.

The Model 5 controller is used on both the Speedmaster EE3511 and the SCR 1100 easel. It has a built-in timer for both subject exposure time as well as artwork exposure time should you elect to add the trader-card attachment. The timer works in conjunction with pre-programmed paper advances for all popular print sizes from 11 x 14 to sub-wallets. The various print sizes are coded from 1 thru 40. The operator simply rotates the selected lens deck into position, selects from one of these codes and presses the foot pedal which results in an exposure followed by the appropriate paper advance.

On this basic premise, we built in a multitude of options. Up to sixteen packages can be pre-programmed. After you have edited and numbered individual film frames, these numbers can also be programmed into the controller. By matching the negative number with the pre-programmed number on the display, you can be confident that the correct package is being printed. With the optional P.C. software, all of this information can be keyed in at your computer and then downloaded thru the controller's serial port.

In Repeater mode, the same package information will be displayed negative after negative. In Pick-and-Run mode, a specific package, A thru P, can be selected. In Auto-Run mode, each negative number is assigned a particular package, all pre-programmed before you entered the dark-room.
