CUTTER/SLITTER (SCR CUTTER/SLITTER) The SCR Cutter/Slitter automatically cuts photos, book covers, or similar product on all four sides to the exact size that you require. As the roll of material exits your Printer (or Laminator), it feeds directly into the Cutter/Slitter. A loop of material read by a loop sensor is made available to the Cutter/Slitter to accommodate on-demand operation. If the Printer or Laminator should stop, the Cutter/Slitter will pause and wait for the web to start moving again. A bar-code printed on each copy tells the SCR Cutter/Slitter where to cut the leading and trailing edge and at the same time two slitters automatically adjust to cut the sides. The result is a stack of finished product ready for the next step in your process. The SCR Cutter/Slitter can be customized to suit numerous specific applications.
