The ProCut is a fully automatic programmable print cutting system. It will cut up to 13,000 8 x 10 prints per hour in single cut mode. Up to 99 programs may be stored to include single or double cut, front or rear sensor, the distance from the mark to the cut, web speed, and slug width for double cut mode. We have a print-ejector option which many of our customers have found useful for improved print stacking.

We also developed the "Smart Sensor" for reading optical code which can be printed in the border between prints to replace mechanical punches. This sensor was developed in cooperation with Gretag to replace their troublesome marking and punch system on the Mileca. We also have customers using the "Smart Sensor" in conjunction with the Kodak Multiprinter and the ISA-Lucht for use with their new DVP2.

We also make the "Smart Sensor" available for the Brooke, the CX and Fotabo print cutters. The sensor is a direct replacement for these cutters requiring no modifications. A two position switch is built in to accommodate both standard punched holes and the new optical code.
