The "CDS" option allows input of video analyzer data. Once programmed, an operator can vary the print size as well as the speed and the "CDS" data will follow. We have provided for up to 99 different settings or "comps" to allow for different paper emulsions, film types or additional video analyzers. The "Master setting" will make subtle corrections to ALL the comps equally to allow for a bulb change or processor shift. Once programmed, the operator simply brings up "CDS" on the display. Display should read "64 00 16 16" By moving the dichroics and the density keys on the keyboard, video analyzer numbers from your next job can be entered. If your lab uses different aim points than the default settings above, the "CDS" program will allow you do change them. Once "CDS" is setup, simply run your setup negative everyday with the correct magnification, paper emulsion and analyzer settings and process along with the control strip.
